Restorative & Yin Yoga Practice
A Yin practice is a quiet meditative practice. It works on the connective tissue to bring supple movement back to the body. Postures are held for a longer period of time than in an active practice (10-12 breaths). Attention is focused on deep breathing to release built up tension and help to soften muscles and tendons.
A restorative practice is used to help restore the nervous system and release deeply held tension in the body and mind. Satiya guides you through the practice using props and therapeutic touch to connect you to those areas.
