Matan Sweeto & Sweet Rosie invite you to an evening of Cacao, Hape and song.
This special event opens with a magical cacao circle, sharing songs from our hearts to yours.
As the night unfolds, we invite in the medicine of Sananga and Hapé, carried by songs from the Amazon jungle.
Your songs, dance moves, and voices are welcomed! Please bring an instrument and be ready to sing and groove along in the heart-opened bliss.
We have had the honor of visiting the sources of the medicine we work with, witnessing how they are made and supporting the communities who prepare them.
Our wonderful cacao comes from Finca Nueva Amanecer, an Indigenous Mayan women's collective in Guatemala. Organic, fair-trade, pure goodness carrying the wisdom of their land and traditions. Each cup we share is a prayer of gratitude for the women who grow and prepare it with so much love.
The Hapé we share comes directly from Txana Muru of the Huni Kuin tribe in the Brazilian Amazon. Prepared with sacred tobacco and medicinal plants, Hapé is used in prayer to bring clarity, grounding, and deep connection to spirit.
We are so excited to share these medicines and songs with the Salt Spring community. Please RSVP your spot so we know how much delicious cacao to prepare and to ensure your place in the circle.
